On 15 October 2023, parliamentary elections were held in Poland.

This project aims to shed light on a socio-political issue. Each photo in the series aims to show the participation of Poles abroad in national elections. In total, more than 600 000 Poles registered to vote at overseas polling stations around the world, and this year's number is a record high. With more than 74 per cent, the opportunity to participate in national elections by voting abroad is very important for citizens residing permanently or temporarily abroad. Despite their geographical separation from Poland, their emotional bond and national identity remain strong. Poles abroad often maintain close ties with Polish culture, language and traditions, which shapes their sense of duty to their country.
